Restaurant in very pretty fun garden with chill out bar at one end of the garden. Fashionable clientele. Thai & Moroccan food, pretty waitresses, good satay and meat everything else is a bit of a gamble.

Km 10 Route de l'Ourika. Amazing pool (35 x 80m) with curtained four poster beds around it. Great music, fun bar, good food. Fun place to spend the day. A bit like Nikki Beach in St Tropez. Night club on certain nights of the week.

Km 6 Route du barrage "Cherifia". Interesting black tiled swimming pool in this fascinating Berber style complex. Beautiful rustic gardens with simple rustic food, a very pleasant place to pass a day. There is also a very fine shop with carpets and Morroccan pottery from the north of the country with reasonable prices run by the very knowledgeable Faiza Lalou.

Some of the best wines are Medaillon, Domaine de Sahari, Volubilia and Coteaux d'Atlas. They all make red, white and rosé; all are very drinkable. Moroccan rosé tends to be heavier than we are used to, whereas their Gris wine is what we call rosé.
